About The Role:

The successful Virtual Design Assistant at 4Dbiz will wear many hats. We are looking for someone who can do it all — from crafting three dimensional renderings of full-scale interior design projects, to creating highly-detailed drawings/elevations, to sourcing beautifully presented room boards.

Our ideal applicant will be detail-oriented, skilled, timely, tech savvy, and independently motivated – looking to gain experience and get in on the ground floor of an exciting new company. Job Details:

-Open hiring. Timeline to training start date to be provided at time of application.

-Part-time employment to start, with room to grow to full-time.

Primary Responsibilities of a Virtual Design Assistant for interior designers:

-Execute 3D renderings, modeled, illustrative and photorealistic

-Execute detailed drawings such as kitchen and bathroom layouts and elevations, furniture space plans, custom cabinetry & Furniture drawings

-Sourcing products based on Principal Designer’s design concept

-Creating beautiful client presentations, mood boards, and other visualizations

-Frequent meetings with upper management to ensure that all projects are on track

-Diligently following up on active projects and keep thorough communication throughout

-Being comfortable leading client facing virtual meetings.

-Provide clients with advice and guidance for how to enhance their presentations to clients and contractors

-Communication with clients to understand how they would like their drawings & renderings executed

Desired Skill Set:

-Expert level proficiency in CAD and Sketchup – additional technologies are a bonus

-Background in architectural design and furnishings

-Minimum 3 year experience

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and deadlines at a time

-Knowledge of kitchen and bath terminology and set standards

-Knowledge of suggested furniture placement/ required pathway spaces

-Knowledge of home furnishing products and labels

-Keen attention to detail

Required Design Software Expert Level of Proficiency: CAD, Sketchup, Zoom, Google Drive and Google applications, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva.

-Additional technologies are a bonus

Required Work Experience and Education:
